The brief was to raise public awareness about the harmful impact of diesel pollution on the health of Londoners — particularly its devastating effects on children. With over 2,800 children hospitalised for asthma in London last year alone, the challenge was to turn a shocking statistic into an emotional, urgent call to action.
We created a powerful public activation on London’s Southbank: the city’s first Diesel Pollution Ward for Children. The installation featured hospital-style beds, poignant placards, and teddy bears dressed in campaign T-shirts, creating a haunting yet human visual story. Captured through film and photography, the activation struck a balance between visual impact and emotional resonance—designed to stop passersby in their tracks and start meaningful conversations.
The activation achieved widespread London media coverage, sparked thousands of social media engagements, and caught the attention of key political stakeholders. It successfully brought a hidden health crisis into public view, making diesel pollution impossible to ignore.
